My telegram No. 148 of 16th July.
saw me this morning and stated that the French Goverment was mos
anxious not to lose track of Nguyer a Quoc whom they ragard as e very dangerous person whatever result of Privy Council decision.
I informed French Coneul that the & ppeal had been withdrawn on te is
which I did not disclose. He assured that we should deport
Nguyen ai Quoc and asked if he could be informed of the route to 19
taken by Nguyen ai Quoc on his departure in order that the French
police could keep trace of him.
I informed him that in this case I was acting on your
instructions and advised him to apply throughthe French Ambarsado.
for any information which might be wailable. Meanwhile he urge
the disclosure of Nguyen ai quoc's Itinerary in interests of
international safety.
Disclosure might be per lous for Nguyen ai Quoc
and it would certainly be so regarded by his legal advicem here
who would strongly object to it.
